| London & South Western Railway. A single coupon second class excursion ticket from Waterloo to Southampton and back clearly dated 8 September 1850. In lovely condition, this is amongst the earliest recorded excursion tickets and is to the first permanent station in Southampton, renamed as Southampton Docks in 1858. |
