| London Midland & Scottish Railway. Single and return tickets from Chellaston East Junction. The Melbourne Military Railway was the old Midland Railway line that extended from the junction through Melbourne to Ashby and from which passenger services had been withdrawn on and from 22 September 1930. It was handed over to the War Department for use as a training line on 19 November 1939. |
