| Invergarry & Fort Augustus Railway. An undated first class single from Fort-Augustus to Spean Bridge rubber stamped CANCELLED on the back. The I&FA opened on 22 July 1903 and was worked from the outset by the Highland Railway even though detached from its own system. This arrangement was terminated in 1907, the North British Railway taking over from 1 May that year. (See also Lot 521). |
